ABOUT THE PUBLICATION

Written by Dave Sim
Illustrated by Dave Sim and Gerhard
Edited by Dagon James

The Last Day collects issues 289–300 of Cerebus, bringing Eisner Award winner Dave Sim and Gerhard’s long-running 27 year narrative to its conclusion.

For this expanded edition, the artwork was carefully restored and remastered to recover the clarity, fine line work, and tonal detail diminished in earlier printings. The complete 260-page story is accompanied by 16 pages of archival material and Cerebus rarities.

Printed on premium uncoated paper, The Last Day: Remastered & Expanded was limited to 300 signed and numbered copies in two formats. The softcover edition features newly designed wraparound artwork with gold-foil details, while the hardcover is bound in purple cloth with gold- and silver-foil stamping and gold-gilded page edges.

Both editions include bookplates signed by Dave Sim and Gerhard. The hardcover edition also includes a new essay by Gerhard, a signed and numbered The Last Day ashcan, and a gold-foil bookmark.
